Villa Gioconda is a charming three-story villa located on a hillside, facing the sea. It sleeps 11 people. From Villa Gioconda you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the whole arch-shaped Gulf of Salerno and of the sea. Villa Gioconda is 400 square meters (4300 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, nice private terraces with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access. You will be roughly 5 km (3.1 miles) from Agropoli, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find shops at 3.5 km (roughly 2.2 miles) and the closest beach (Trentova Beach) at 5 km (roughly 3 miles). To stay at Villa Gioconda you will need a car. You will be able to park it inside the entrance gate. Please kindly note. The rental price includes: final cleaning; linens; towels; maid service from Monday to Saturday 3 hours each day; electricity up to 250 kWh per week; beach/pool towels.Available upon request: baby bed. Villa Gioconda is situated in an isolated and prominent area, almost on the top of a green mountain whose slopes look out on the plains of Paestum on one side and softly descends towards the blue of the sea on the other, going through hillocks and little mountains covered in verdant cultivations. From its terraces ad garden you will be able to enjoy a spectacular and endless view of the whole arch-shaped Gulf of Salerno: looking towards the horizon, right before your eyes, you will see the island of Capri and the mountainous outline of the whole Amalfi Coast, which ends with the city of Salerno. By looking to the right, you will be able to feast your eyes on the entire large long and arch-shaped beach of the plains of Paestum. And by stretching your eyes and looking below you, you will see the medieval town of Agropoli, with its castle overlooking the sea. Last but not least, close to where you are, you will see, bellow the villa, the verdant hills which descend towards the sea and the bay of Trentova. Such wide panorama becomes even more fascinating once the night falls, bringing the sunset over the sea and a myriad of lights brightening the whole gulf… Villa Gioconda is located almost at the end of a private road of about 500 meters (about 1,640 feet) which leads to four or fives houses distributed along its way. All around you will see olive groves and vineyards which lushly grow under the clear sky and the sweet Mediterranean weather. In order to reach the villa, once leaving from Agropoli and the sea, you have to go for about 5 km (about 3 miles) along a convenient countryside road which unravels through vineyards and olive groves and offers you scenery of green hillocks and little mountains overlooking the sea at every turn. You will run past magnificent olive groves with trees which have offered their fruits for hundreds of years...: their black large and dumpy trunks and thick intense-green foliage contrast against the light green of the land and the blue of the sky and the sea producing a fascinating effect... moreover, it is not difficult to come across a horse, donkey or cow grazing along the road... You will find that Villa Gioconda is perfect to enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside even though it is close to the sea, beaches, and famous tourist places. 5 km (about 3 miles) away from the villa, you will find the beach of Trentova, surrounded by an enthralling bay miraculously uncontaminated, as it is a preserved natural area. The large and sandy beach is surrounded by rocky coast shaped as a green amphitheater. The sun shines on it all day long, the water is clean and transparent, and the bottom gradually increases in depth enabling not only you but also your kids to go for a swim. The rocky shore of the bay is perfect for those who enjoy exploring small underwater cavities with snorkels. The sea ahead is a protected marine area. At Villa Gioconda you will find a marvellous turquoise-blue swimming pool, lain down on a white, sunshiny terrace with a gorgeous view on the sea and the coast . You and your kids will be able to comfortably access into the pool through a large semicircular ladder. In the night the area is enlightened by posh street-lamps and the pool by sunken lights. You will enjoy it during the night and will find lovely drinking a glass of wine while admiring the going down of the sun to the sea...
