The Property: Fattoria Tecognano offers two apartments and a housing unit in a true Tuscan agricultural environment. The units can all be rented as a single unit for large groups / families, or separately. The house was built in the 18th century and sits on over four acres of private land. It is quiet and peaceful with stunning views of the Val di Chiana. It has been completely restored and retains the original features of its wooden ceilings and traditional terracotta floors. The ground floor consists of a large living room with a fireplace, kitchen, dining room, and bathroom. The first apartment, "The Bugossi", has a large living/ dining room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower, and three bedrooms that can accommodate six people; two bedrooms have double beds and the other bedroom has two single beds. The second apartment, "The Ziraia", has a living/ dining room with a charming fireplace, kitchen, bathroom, and a double bedroom that can accommodate four people. Tecognano is one of the most beautiful valleys in Tuscany and is located 2 1/2 miles from the beautiful Etruscan hill town of Cortona. Tecognano is central and ideal for those who wish to explore the wine regions of Tuscany or make day trips to Arezzo, Florence, Siena, Perugia and Rome. The main motorways are four miles away with a train station in Camucia one mile away and Terontola railway station two miles away. There is a car rental agency in Terontola with services and shops and a lovely path from the Roman period that will take you to Cortona in 40 minutes. Outdoor Space: We offer a beautiful garden with amazing views and tables for outdoor dining/ barbecuing. There is also a wood-burning oven to make fresh pizza. We have a luxurious swimming pool (10x5 x14 meters) with umbrellas and sunbeds that overlook a Tuscan panorama.
