Agriturismo S'incant'e Sinis
About
Nestled in the “Peninsula of Silence”, S’Incant’e Sinis provides a peaceful and relaxing holiday immersed in nature. Thanks to its heterogeneous landscape and to its history and culture, the Sinis Peninsula on the western coast of Sardinia offers an intense experience of indescribable feelings and emotions. Asphodel fields, small palm trees, uncontaminated beaches of glittering quartz and sheer cliffs as “Su Tingiusu”, are the frame of S’Incantu, a perfect fusion between nature and archaeology. Its central location makes it an ideal base for visiting the beautiful nearby villages: Tharros, a Phoenician-Punic city, The Mont’e Prama archeological site, well known for the Giants statues, ancient stone figures from the Bronze-age Nuragic civilization, exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of Cabras. Other attractions in the area include: The naturalistic Oasi of Seu (former WWF Oasis, now Natural Municipal Park) with its Mediterranean vegetation that in springtime creates an explosion of colors and fragrances. Not to be missed: there are many astonishing walking and biking trails all over the Sinis Peninsula and its surroundings: from Capo San Marco to “Is Aruttas”; from “Mari Ermi” to the island of “Mal di Ventre”, a small paradise which is accessible by boat from several beaches of the Sinis; from “Mont’e Prama” to “San Salvatore”, well known for one of the oldest and most suggestive events of the island, “la corsa degli scalzi”.
