Artemisia was born on the "ashes" of what was the luxurious fortress of a mafia boss. Assigned to the social cooperative C.A.P.S., today Artemisia hosts a project, aimed at experimenting with an innovative model of housing, residential and tourist-social mix. For this purpose, a part of the Villa has been allocated to an apartment group for young Italian adults and former unaccompanied foreign minors, allocating the additional spaces to catering activities, tourist-hotel reception and cultural programming, co-managed by the same boys. This is how "Artemisia Academy" starts, a place where the young inhabitants of the house will have the opportunity to start from scratch, giving themselves a second chance.
