About

SETA is a space dedicated to the Applied Arts. We are based in an area rich in history, at the foot of Monte Grappa, in the heart of the Treviso foothills, recognised in 2021 as a MAB - UNESCO. Once upon a time, numerous craft workshops were located here, and the art of spinning and weaving, first wool and then silk, was very strong. The space is housed in some rooms of a former spinning mill dating back to the mid-19th century (and in fiction until the 1950s), which were once occupied by offices and the storage of silkworms. This is why we decided to give this space the name 'Silk': this is where the finest yarn was once made. Today, we promote and enhance the excellence of artisan companies. But 'Silk' is also a fabric. Here we 'weave' collaborations, we enhance 'Trame' (stories) of excellence. We are 'weavers' of relationships... and warp and weft are the two souls of this place where tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and design, savoir-faire and know-how intersect.
