Burgerhof lies 4 km from the small village of Avigna/Afing and 18 km from Bolzano/ Bozen’s city centre in the middle of nature. Our farm is a good place for recreation and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Swimming in our bio pound watching the Dolomites is a great experience both for adults and children.Around Burgerhof there are many nice hiking trails through woods, over meadows and along streams. You can find plenty of mushrooms, berries and herbs.We offer all our guests guided riding trips. There are several places offering refreshments along the way which welcome you and the horses.You can have a picnic at our small fishing pond, in the woods on our property and a nearby habitat. In summer you can enjoy a wide range of trips on one of our mountain bikes, on horseback or simply by walking.Apart from that several sports facilities are available in the nearby village of Jenesien. Have fun at the outdoor swimming pool, the tennis courts or the bowling alley.Ice skating in Jenesien, cross-country-skiing on the nearby plateau of “the Salten” or sledging down the slopes around Burgerhof make it worth a visit, also in winter time.Our guests are very welcome to help on the farm at any time (hay making, caring for the animals, repair work etc.) Additional free conveniences for our guests include- bio bathing pond- sandy riding arena- SAT TV- picnic area - children’s play area - campfire and BBQ by arrangement- darts, trampoline, table soccer- beach volley- washing and ironing facilities on request- free mountainbike hire- private parking.
