One hundred meters from Baveno lakeside, with a pleasant dehor, the Bar Degustazione il Giancarlino was born on January 1st 1986 under the guidance of Annamaria Adami and Giancarlo Malenotti, Giancarlino for his many friends. In 1988 Giancarlino, together some Baveno citizens, gave life to the "Carnival of Children", a non-profit association that for years has been committed to donating the annual income to different local associations, such as the Red Cross. In 1990 the Giancarlino created a soccer team that took the name of his bar and took part for years in the "Baveno Activities Championship", winning in 1993 the 1st place. Over the years, the Giancarlino appears on the coins of the most important and most felt party by the citizens of Baveno, the "Jump in the past" (“Salto nel passato”). In 2019 the Giancarlino renews its bar with the precious help of his daughter Michela, continuing to be a reference point for all the persons in Baveno during the day and the evening.
