The Spirituality Center "Maria Candida" is located in Armeno, a small center on the hills of Lake Orta, 5 minutes from Orta San Giulio, 15 minutes from Mount Mottarone and 30 minutes from Lake Maggiore (distances by car). In the district there are innumerable towns and cities that offer cultural, recreational, celebratory and religious events. He began the reception activity in 1971, as House of Spiritual Exercises for the Sisters of Charity of Santa Giovanna Antida Thouret, for the will of the General Mother, Sr. Maria Candida Torchio.
