Located in the authentic Sicilian countryside, the Paparoni family farm is a short distance from the Tyrrhenian Sea, as well as the Natural Park of Monti Nebrodi.The Azienda Agricola Paparoni "AGRICONTURA" is in the heart of a nearly perfect, unsullied valley on the northern coast of Sicily. Founded in 1953, the Azienda Agricola Paparoni is managed by the Paparoni family. There are 35 acres of citrus groves and olive trees, cultivated using only biologic methods. Solar energy provides the power for pumping water for irrigation, without wasting a drop of water, for an operation consisting of over 7000 trees. The farm is only two miles from the seaside and can be the jumping off place for numerous excursions along the northern coast of Sicily, as well as the Aeolian islands.The accommodations consist of four independent apartments situated in a green and shady area.Recently restored, the antique farm houses offer all modern comforts, including air conditioning. The apartments, each occupying roughly 650 square feet, are spacious and pleasant, with terra cotta tile floors and wood ceilings. Each apartment has its own terrace, furnished with tables and chairs, shaded by a big umbrella.The walking path, the swimming pool and the children's playground permit guests to get to know the farm at the same time that they are having a relaxing vacation.
