“La Via del Carretto” is a charming B&B in a small hillside village in the north-eastern Sicily, just 6 km from the sea, nestled in the green Nebrodi mountains with a picturesque view of Aeolian Islands and near the largest protected natural area of Sicily, Nebrodi Park, a good place for trekking. A great choice between mountain and sea to discover a known and lesser known Sicily: nature, art, history, archaeology without traveling long distances (e.g.: the archaeological site of Tindari is only about 40 minutes’ drive)The B&B building was once a collection of old houses huddled together, built between 1880s and 1940s, that we’ve restored to preserve as much as possible of the original structure. Four Twin/Double rooms (all with private bathroom, Wi-Fi, TV LED and air conditioning) carefully furnished, often through the creative re-use of materials of the old building. You will enjoy, in a homely and friendly atmosphere, our delicious breakfasts with typical local products (home-made jams, cakes, granita etc.). But that’s not all…directly in the comfort of our B&B it’s possible attending intensive and personalized courses of Italian language and culture, held by one of our family, a highly experienced and qualified Italian teacher for foreigners.
