"Hemingway" was born in an ancient building in the historic center of the city, a few steps from the lake and from the bell tower of San Nicolò. On the ground floor there is a cafe that serves aperitifs, sandwiches and snacks all day long and in the evening with its special colors becomes a charming cocktail bar. On the first floor there is a small lounge and the restaurant rooms: warm, romantic and with a unique view of the main square, the lake and the bell tower. Pieces of history, such as the ceiling in beams and frescoes or the parquet of 1894 blend with modernity, like the walls and the forniture.The charming old staircase is the beating heart of Hemingway. Outside there are many elegant tables, an illuminated umbrella and lots of flowers. Hemingway, as customers say, it the best cocktail bar in Lecco and has 101 different types of Gin.
