The POLICIANO Suite is the largest apartment of La Casa delle Querce with its 90 sq meters. It comprises of a very spacious living dining-room, an ample cooking area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms each with shower. In the bedrooms there is air conditioning. One bedroom faces the swimming-pool. The apartment is embellished with wooden beamed ceilings and brick walls, floor is in local terracotta tiled. In the dining- living room there are two bed settees for a further two people, TV, telephone. The apartment is furnished with fine period furniture and offers every comforts: a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, a large two doors fridge, fail-safe gas stove, oven with grill, crockery and cutlery. The apartment is supplied with bed linen and towels and has mosquito nets on windows. Outside, in front of the swimming-pool, there is a private area with a wood table and benches. La Casa delle Querce is a 18th century country houseset amidst the verdent hills of the route of the Nobile Montepulciano Wine. Surrounded by a park with swimming pool, “La Casa delle Querce” sits on a hillock between olive groves and vineyards in the sublime simplicity of the Tuscan countryside: it's really a perfect place to relax. The house in typical red clay brick, was converted in 1990 into the present “La Casa delle Querce” after a careful restauration mantaining all the original architectural features. It consists of 11 apartments: the owner's abode and 10 others for the guests, each with its own independent entrance and individual layout and character. The house is surrounded by a park with magnificent oak trees and their welcome shade. The open air swimming pool (m 16x8) is surrounded by a lawn equipped with sunbeds, loungers and tables. A dedicated area with two barbecues and an oven invites the guests to improve their culinary skills. A laundry room equipped with washing machine, iron and ironing board is at guests's disposal The panoramic terrace, by the swimming pool, overlooks the valley onto rows of vines and olives trees with an enchanting view. La Casa delle Querce is a suitable place for family, couple, young people and not so young that love quiet and relaxing holiday immersed in the beauty of the suggestive landscape. Also it's an ideal starting point to visit towns and cities either in Tuscany or in Umbria driving in a short time. Otherwise by train: just 1 hour from the small country Montepulciano station to Siena! The other important main railway station is Chiusi Besides representative and well known towns and cities there are many historical and charming small places to visit at short driving distance.
