Il Casale del Madonnino is located in Iano, Montaione, in the province of Florence. The farmhouse is in a panoramic position overlooking nearby Volterra and the Cecina and Era Valleys with the Apennine Mountains and Mount Serra in the background. The holiday home is located in an ideal central position for visiting most of the beautiful tourist resorts of Tuscany. Only a 20 minutes drive from medieval and Etruscan pearls like San Gimignano, Volterra and Certaldo, whereas the major Tuscan art towns, like Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca, are all within an hour drive. Within walking distance, in Iano, there is the town’s mini market which offers all kinds of foodstuffs: fresh bread every day, including Sundays and holidays, fruit, local cold cuts and salami.
