The Bed and Breakfast "La Margherita" is born in the heart of the small village of Poggiardo, 40 km from Lecce and 45 km from Santa Maria di Leuca. Well connected by the train station and bus terminal, is only 5 km from the town of Castro (Blue Flag 2015) and Santa Cesarea Terme for lovers of rock and 15 km from Otranto (Blue Flag 2015) not only for the popular Salento Alimini its famous beaches, but also for the wonderful old town full of culture and tradition, unique in all the Salento. The B & B is located behind the town's main square, Piazza Umberto I, about 200 meters, which is the heart of the charming little old town. Our property is also surrounded by the most important services (mail, tobacco / newsagent, grocery, banking, pizzerias, restaurants, bars, confectionery, bakery and other shops) all within less than a minute's walk away and only 12 minutes walk from the train station and local buses. Every Wednesday morning Poggiardo became famous for its historic and big weekly market reference point for citizens, but also for tourists who can find good opportunities and local products of all kinds. The market is one of the most important of Salento in both its extent seniority. "La Margherita" is on the first floor of a small building with an elevator available to our guests. The apartment is about 120 square meters and includes three bedrooms (two triples and one double), a lobby for relaxation furnished with sofa and TV, where you can read a good book or chat with other guests , and with a large table for our abundant breakfast, also there are two large terraces * for guests, a kitchen, and two bathrooms with shower. * The terraces of the structure have been divided so you can get a private balcony for every room and leave, however, a common area for all guests who want to share the pleasant cool summer evenings. The property also has a single car garage in the garage to the condo for medium and small cars (ask about availability when booking), alternatively in all the surrounding streets you have the option of free parking.
