SPIRDO: An enchanted place, a land of encounters, ideal for an unforgettable stay in the most authentic Salento, to the discovery of sounds, colors and flavors in a way that is environmentally correct, where the traveller is still welcomed as a "sacred" guest. Spirdo is an organic farm renovated with respect for the green building criteria.On the top of the uppest hill of Ruffano, the farm covers more than 13 hectares, with 540 pluiri-centenaries olive trees and it is surrounded by a marvelous typical vegetation better known as 'macchia mediterranea'. In the cool and windy days it is possible to see the eastern sunrises profiles or admire the western beautiful and breathtaking sunsets. We invite you to stroll in the olive grove to admire the majestic shapes of the olive trees, in which everyone can freely glimpse figures and anthropomorphic forms created by nature. Interesting are the traces of the old stone buildings (pajare-trulli and dry stone walls) .
