Le Pagliare del Gran Sasso rents rooms and apartment for you in Assergi, a beautiful village near L'Aquila, that you can easily reach by A24 (Roma-Teramo) motorway. Assergi(1000 m above sea level) is the nearest village to the Gran Sasso cableway, that takes you to the tableland of Campo Imperatore (1900 m a.s.l.), one of the most beautiful winter station in the south of Italy.We have for our guests five pretty rooms, restored according to the traditional local history,but at the same time,respecting all the security policies. Since 2006 it had been a straw-stack (upstairs) and a cow-house downstairs, where now you can have your breakfast, rich in local specialties.We can offer 4 rooms (with bathrooms) and an apartment with kitchen.We organize for you themed trips (food, wine, hermitage...) driving you by our minibus, or, if you want, by mountain bikes or snowshoeing.
