Villa Scorzi
About
Villa Scorzi, originally built in the 14th century as a simple rural settlement, was soon expanded by the noble Scorzi family, Counts of Pisa, who chose it as their country residence. The villa's location, offering tranquility and a panoramic view from the Arno River to the Tower of Pisa, was ideal. Over the centuries, the villa underwent numerous renovations, reflecting Tuscany’s evolving architectural and artistic styles. Today, it offers guests comfort with air conditioning, TV, and internet. Its prime location near Pisa, Livorno, and other Tuscan cities makes it an exceptional venue for events, weddings, or relaxing holidays, embodying the family’s motto: "Sit Pacis." This motto, symbolized by a rampant griffin, represents the Scorzi family's role in securing peace between the Holy See and France in 1644.
