Exit the A11 at Capannori and follow directions to the village of Montecarlo which lies 15 kilometres away from Lucca and Montecatini Terme, 30 km from Pisa and 60 km from Florence. Borgo La Torre is close by the coastal resort of Versilia and is also surrounded by several villages of the Garfagnana region as well as the ancient villas of the Lucca area and the renowned Pinocchio amusement park, the Butterfly House and the historical Villa Garzoni with the Italian-style garden.
