Fashion is creativity and creativity is liberty. In 2003 Il Cerchio animated a group of 10 girls and women held in the State Prison of Giudecca to start a fashion design studio to manufacture gowns and dresses, creating a unique design with woven and fabrics donated by well-known brand such as Rubelli, Fortuny, Bevilacqua. The outcomes of this social innovation, based on empowering the held women to practice their creativity, helping them in the reintegration, can be seen and bought in our shop “Banco lotto n. 10” at Castello 3478 in Salizada San Antonin, a prestigious shopping place in Venice, mentioned in tour guides and international reviews. During these years, thanks to the donations of the most important local organizations and foundations, we had the possibility to increase our name, taking part in important fashion shows and exhibitions of the Venetian society.
