About

Fondazione Luigi Rovati opened its Art Museum in September 2022. Two floors of exhibition space displaying more than 250 works take the visitor from the Etruscan age to the world of contemporary art. On the hypogeum floor, a visionary architecture of stone domes holds the Etruscan collection with insertions of contemporary art. On the second floor, site-specific works by Luigi Ontani, Giulio Paolini and Francesco Simeti reinterpret the fully restored 19th-century style interiors and dialogue with objects and works from different cultures and historical periods. The museum shop, café-bistro, and restaurant complete the museum offerings.
