At Tandem you can taste the traditional Neapolitan Ragu, the typical sunday gravy made with chops of beef and pork, tomato and a looooot of time: 8-9 hours! So that it reaches a particular taste where you cannot distinguish anymore the tomato from the meat. We also cook another very traditional and long sauce called Genovese (but that has nothing to do with Genova or pesto)made of onions and beef, cooked for 9 hours until it becomes like a delicate cream...You can have these sauces with pastas, fresh pastas, meatballs, or “scarpetta”: just the sauce and the bread, as if you were at home. And then you can also find cheeses and cold cuts from the tradition, a spectacular enormous sandwich called CUZZETIELLO, steaks of local meat, a serious vegetarian menu ... and we have also gluten-free pastas to taste with our super traditional grandmother gravies. Reservation is not compulsory, but strongly suggested.
