Restaurant Il Fienile is located on the second floor of the farmholiday Antica Cascina Brandimarte, right union between present and past that is reflected in the refinement of the rooms and in the typical dishes of the traditional Umbrian cuisine and Castelluccio. In the old barn he was placed the hay, the only power source for the family Brandimarte's cattle during winter and source of income along with agriculture. Now renovated, with a wooden ceiling and exposed beams, solid wood tables, tablecloths simple and elegant, friendly and professional service, stone fireplace, is proposed with a warm and relaxing place. The dishes are masterfully prepared by Maria Rita Brandimarte following the teaching had from her mother Adua. Nothing seems to have changed in the pasta, in soups, in the cooking of local meat and in the preparation of sweets. Mountain herbs, flowers, mushrooms and all the delicacies that nature offers us, expertly cooked are a rediscovery of simple and ancient tastes. Authenticity requires long preparation times and our concept of "Slow Food" is to offer products that are always genuine and the highest quality.
