Le Officine Ducrot are behind the Castello della Zisa, and contain forty sheds: very interesting examples of industrial architecture, with a natural vocation to become an extraordinary citadel of culture, following the example of similar workplace obsolete. Qui furono realizzati i mobili liberty tra i più belli d'Europa, disegnati da Ernesto Basile, come gli arredi di Montecitorio e delle grandi navi da crociera dei Florio. Here were built the furniture liberty among the most beautiful in Europe, designed by Ernesto Basile, as the furniture of Deputies and large cruise ships of Florio. Oggi sono utilizzati come aree espositive. Today they are used as exhibition areas.
