Museo di Storia dell'Agricoltura
About
The MULSA (Museum of Agricultural History), conceived in 1971, is located at the Visconti castle Morando Bolognini in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano. It is a narrative and exhibition museum, whose sections are structured according to the sequence of technological revolutions that have characterized the history of agriculture, from its origins to the present day. The museum aims to provide an evolutionary vision of agriculture, based on ethno-historical-archaeological principles, helping visitors to reflect on the profound significance of this indispensable human activity. In addition to the permanent museum exhibition, which includes over 1200 items displayed in 17 rooms, some of which are from important national museums such as the National Museum L. Pigorini in Rome and the Museum of Roman Civilization, MULSA has a thematic library, organizes study seminars, conducts scientific and educational research
