KALPA Galleries are founded in the picturesque hilltop town of Volterra, in which the richness of past civilization equals the incredible vastness of wild nature. The central Via Porta all’Arco welcomes both our venues: the Palazzo Bonomini and the Atelier (a former alabaster workshop), featuring a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere, sober and minimalistic furniture, and warm neutral tones. Our vision revolves around the concepts of high arts refinement, an intuitive passion for craftsmanship, and a holistic approach to interior design. The style balances elegance and simplicity, contemporary and past, and West and East in an all-encompassing wabi-sabi sensibility.
