9 Yurts (original Mongolian tents) of about 25/35 square meters with the possibility of sleeping 3 to 6 people on wooden platforms within a 6-hectare property bordering the Ghirardi Oasis Regional Park. To be precise, we have one 3-person tent, six 4-person tents and two 6-person tents. Linens and towels are provided by us. Facilities, are of course outside the yurt, but each tent has a private bathroom that includes a shower and sink as well as a toilet, Guests will always have access to common areas with bathrooms, bar, restaurant, Wi-Fi, music, ping pong table and table football. A large BBQ is available to guests for any grilling (service available for lunch not dinner). During the warmer months you can cool off in our swimming pool overlooking the valley We would be happy to recommend activities, parties and events in the valley and nearby. By letting us know in advance we can organize parties, horseback riding at a nearby riding school, mushroom hunting, birdwatching, rides on your mountain bikes, walks, and events for any occasion. Available to guests, by appointment, yoga classes, ayurvedic massages, couples massages, shiatsu massages etc. with therapists who will meet you directly at the facility. We have a large dome of 80 square meters that we can make available to groups for any type of activity (yoga, meditation, dance, events). In addition, among the trees in the forest, a large 64-square-meter platform can be used on good weather days for the same activities. Also in the woods, numerous hammocks are available to guests. At least one of us or one of our staff members will always be present at the facility. The farm is situated on top of a gentle hill from where you will be able to enjoy a 360° view of the surrounding valleys and you will be able to see and feed (following some basic rules) our animals (horses, goats, mules. calves, pigs and chickens......., but most of all you will often be able to admire numerous wild animals in their natural environment: wild boars, fawns, fallow deer, buzzards, porcupines, badgers and foxes. Cacigolara is part of the territory once called the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza. You can then visit castles and ancient villages nearby. The Cinque Terre are an hour's train ride from Borgo Val di Taro, so you can visit them while avoiding the dreadful experience of having to park your car along the coast. Parks, forests, trails and rivers where you can cool off are just minutes from our farm. You can reach us by exiting Borgotaro from the Cisa highway and continuing on the valley floor to Bedonia until you reach a turnoff on the right for Breia, Strela. After about a km you will find signs indicating Cacigolara. Warning: the last km of the road is unpaved and not always in very good condition. If you have a particularly low car call us and we will pick you up. With exceptions possible, we would appreciate a minimum stay of two nights. Our offer includes dinner and breakfast based on products of our own production or km 0 for an amount of about 25 euros per person to be added to the cost of the overnight stay. Special conditions apply for groups occupying the entire facility (39 beds). Dogs and cats are allowed as long as they are sociable and under strict supervision.
