A mansio was an inn and a post station.In XIII century it was taken over by the powerful Abbott Ermanno (Abate Ermanno), in whose honour the today's Restaurant is named.After 2 millenias of destruction, rebuilding and numerous modifications of the original structure, in 1997 the Vit Family restored the complex and its surroundings to its former splendor.
