Our story began many years ago when our great grandfather decided, towards the end of the 800, going to live in the country with his family. The farmhouse is today an historic farmhouse of 700, set in the countryside "rossanese" among olive trees and citrus crops. It was for many years a refuge for a group of men dedicated to banditry. Between history and legend has it that after countless raids were arrested and executed all but one, that of Grillo Marshes, which because of its young age was imprisoned. Once free, now elderly, return here to try to recover a hidden treasure but so many years and the work done had profoundly changed places so that I could not more' to identify the precise point at which it was buried. A legend but, in the Sixties during the renovations, became reality. Attics was in fact discovered a secret hiding place containing rifles, swords, daggers and a letter, unfortunately lost, which sanctioned the impact of these bandits. Today this is mainly a farm with 5,000 olive trees that produce an excellent organic olive oil, which of course you can buy, as well as honey, vegetables, fruit and other products that we use to refresh our guests.
