Our palace in Sant'Omero A pink palazzo, just below the old medieval village, is where our B&B La Pecora Rosa is located. What used to be a textile factory has now become 5 houses, each with their own character. Our house has a lovely backyard where we have just installed a new (salt) swimming pool. So you don't have to leave the house to find relaxation. Sant'Omero is a great base for a visit to Abruzzo. It is located in the beautiful front hills of the Apennines overlooking the majestic Gran Sasso - the highest mountain in the Apennines with a summit of 2,912 metres! Because we are located quite north in Abruzzo, many beautiful places in Le Marche are also easily accessible. The old village was built on the foundations of a ruined castle, which is why one of the local bars is called Il Castello. Unique rooms The existing authentic furniture has inspired us when furnishing the rooms. Each room has its own unique look. A style that fits for everyone. From romantic rural to contemporary, a fairytale forest and even a room with royal allure. Re-use is just so sustainable! Naturally, the beds are equipped with new luxury mattresses and each room has air conditioning and a private bathroom. Comfort comes first. Do you like to cook yourself? This is also possible if you rent our apartment.
