About
The Museo d'Arte sul Mare (MAM) is a permanent open‑air museum that stretches 1,150 m along the south pier (Molo sud) of San Benedetto del Tronto, offering visitors a unique seaside art walk. The museum showcases 195 works – 170 sculptures and 25 murals – created by 164 artists from 37 countries. Its colourful assemblage of sculpted travertine panels and wall paintings turns the promenade into a living gallery, blending contemporary art with the Adriatic sea. The MAM is freely accessible, making it an ideal destination for families, art lovers, beachgoers and anyone looking to experience a vibrant fusion of culture and nature along the Italian coast.
