The Quarantallina Holiday Farm is nestled in the heart of the Crete Senesi, the Sienese clayey hills. Its excellent position favours excursions and tours to the most characteristic locations in Tuscany. It is about 4 km away from Buonconvento, one of Italy's most beautiful boroughs, 4 km from Murlo, famous owing to its Etruscan settlements, 15 km from Montalcino, renowned for its "Brunello" wine, and 25 km from Siena, rich in history and famous for its Palio horserace. Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montepulciano and the beautiful abbeys of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Sant'Antimo and San Galgano are easy to reach. It is also possible to go on excursions to spas, travel to the seaside or visit wonderful Florence. The holiday farm comprises three apartments: "Appaloosa" and "Paint", in the entirely refurbished farmhouse, and "Quarter", converted from an old barn opposite the swimming-pool, all nicely furnished and provided with modern amenities. The rooms, all on the first floor of the farmhouse, enjoy an excellent view of the surroundings. They are tastefully furnished, provided with a small fridge, and share a common living room with fireplace and television set. The swimming pool and the large, outfitted outdoor space let the guests fully enjoy the Sienese landscape.
