Spacious (260 sq metres), very well equipped house on two floors forming part of renovated historic farm hamlet. The estate covers 5 acres, and includes eight houses set in lovely gardens, sharing a 20 x 10 metre travertine-lined pool and tennis court. Our house, the largest in the hamlet, has a private terrace and garden, and a beautiful shaded outside dining area. Spectacular views include mountains, vineyards, and the distant mediaeval towers of San Gimignano. There is a communal kitchen garden for herbs and vegetable. We have created a very comfortable environment, as it is our second home, There are several very attractive architectural details. Inside, the floors are either marble or terra cotta tiles, and the furniture is a tasteful mixture of period and modern. Three double and one twin bedrooms are complemented by marble tiled bathrooms. The spacious arched living area has well stocked bookshelves, a wide selection of music and videos, and an open log fireplace.
