Villa Lionella is a splendid three-story villa surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps 16 people. From Villa Lionella you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Senesi hills and of the greenery. Villa Lionella is 450 square meters (4850 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access. You will be roughly 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from Poggibonsi, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile). You will reach Villa Lionella from the parking area without having to climb any steps. To stay at Villa Lionella you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate. Villa Lionella is made up by 2 adjacent buildings, with separate access and not connected internally: the main building (first built in the XV century) was originally the foundations of a mediaeval tower and the annex. As guests of Villa Lionella you will be able to have, on request and for a fee, chef service, yoga trainer, massages and possibility to rent bikes. Swimming Pool The swimming pool is 8 meters (26 feet) large by 16 meters (52 feet) long, 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) deep. The area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun loungers, a gazebo and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Senesi hills. The pool is open from mid-May until the end of September. Please kindly note. The rental price includes: final cleaning; parking; Wi-Fi Internet connection; towels, changed mid-week; linens and towels; cleaning from Monday to Saturday; beach/pool towels; electricity.Available upon request: baby bed. Available for a fee, if desired:chef/cook. Tourist tax, paid locally: From March 1 to October 31: EUR 2.00 per person per night for the first 5 nights. Guests aged under 12 are exempt. Refundable security deposit paid cash upon arrival: EUR 500 (it is returned to you at check-out). Garden The garden is 6000 square meters (65000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by an elegant awning and by tall trees. It is equipped with tables, chairs and a gazebo. Here you will also find a barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven. From the garden you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Senesi hills and of the greenery. Main Building, Ground FloorLiving Room 1 The first living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are classic and welcoming. The furnishings include three sofas. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels) and an Ethernet plug for broadband Internet connection (don't forget your cable!). The room has a window with a view of the garden. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Living Room 2 The second living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are classic and welcoming. The furnishings include a small sofa and a desk. From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room also has a window with a view of the garden. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Dining Room 1 The furnishings of the first dining room are classic and welcoming. The dining table can accommodate 24 guests. There is an elegant fireplace. From the dining room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room also has a high window, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Main Building, First FloorDining Room 2 The furnishings of the second dining room are warm and welcoming. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. From the dining room you will be able to enter the alleyway at the rear of the house through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Kitchen You will be able to enter the kitchen from the second dining room. It is professional-grade, equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and other small appliances. The kitchen has a window, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the second living room climbing 15 steps. The floor is paved with wood. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a bedroom chair. The room has a window with a view of the greenery. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit, and you will also find a safe.
