In the heart of the Park, along the Alto Sangro, one of the most beautiful hikes is undoubtedly the itinerary that goes up the Val Fondillo. Leave the car in the parking lot at the entrance of the valley, continue on a dirt road to the Old Segheria, the mountain chain that closes the valley is the Serra delle Gravare, while on the left the Monte Amaro and behind the Monte Marsicano.
