Ristorante da Rosary - Torre Sangiovanni Albergo
About
Torre Sangiovanni offers an intimate and welcoming restaurant where Rosary will delight you with her own recipes from her home region. Italian fusion cuisine? Perhaps, but most importantly a feast of flavours from Umbria with a twist from northern Italy. Rosary and her "little, big kitchen" prepare home made jams and preserves served with cheese, lip-smacking toppings for bruschetta, typical umbrian cheese bread or olives and walnut loaves, pickled vegetables and, last but not least, the home made Lemon, Orange or Walnut liquors. Everything is minute maid and served in the two cozy dining rooms or, when in season, in the terraced garden. All ingredients are local and represent the excellent food tradition of Umbria. The wine list is equally carefully populated with many local and national winemakers. The decor, with tables and 19th century paintings, the copper and brass antiques and the old Deruta ceramics confer to the two dining rooms a refined and intimate character. During the summer months, our guest can dine "al fresco". The outdoors terraced patio, overlooking the garden, provides the perfect set for a romantic dinner for two.
