About
The Mario Cervo Archive represents the world's most important collection dedicated to Sardinian music. The Archive guards the majority of the traditional Sardinian repertoire that was recorded and published between 1922 and 1997. The repertoire is comprised of over 6000 disks that were catalogued and ordered by the ethnomusicologist Paolo Angeli, and thanks to the intervention of the Istituto Superiore Regionale Etnografico (the regional institute of ethnography).
