In Plait is an expression of the Carnian dialect describing the state of "listening". It also designates the place where village communities used to gather to discuss the rules to live together in harmony. We believe that slowly tasting local dishes and savouring exquisite wines in a location that is refined and satisfies the eye is conducive to harmonious living and well-being and dispels stress and tensions. William De Stales e Stefania Roverelli opened the Bookstore with a Kitchen in 2003, inside a cosy and elegant space decorated with design objects, antiquities and silk and porcelain, where rhythm is slow and where guests dine among books on mountains and mountain culture.
