“Palazzo Caracciolo” is a maison d'hôtes located in the heart of Meta di Sorrento, one of the most suggestive and characteristic spots of Sorrento Peninsula – in the silent and flowery walk of Francesco Caracciolo street. The maison contextualizes in the Cosenza Palace, anciently and more than today known as “Villa Giuseppina”, a mansion designed and projected by the famous Italian civil engineer and architect of Dutch origins Luigi Vanvitelli, creator of the Caserta Palace, who in 1739 reproposed here the same perspective magnificence. The building is encased into a 2000 sqm botanic garden rich of columns and classic characters that, with its fountains and glamour sights, a rich flora of fruit trees and the private chapel, represents a wonderful and unexpected oasis of exclusive tranquillity submerged in the frenzy of the city center.
