About

The Caproni Museum is the first Italian company museum and among the first to display a world-class aviation collection. From its earliest years, Gianni Caproni and his wife Timina decided to keep some of the most important aircraft produced in the workshops instead of disposing of them. Over the years, the collection was enriched with aircraft made by other companies and a large collection of works of art. This choice, in 1929, led to the foundation of the Taliedo Museum in the province of Milan. Inaugurated in 1992, the Trento site houses an important collection of aircraft with some priceless pieces. As of 1 July 2019, the management of the Museum is entrusted to the Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino.
