Pierino Vellano Wines is a winery in the Monferrato Casalese area. In particular, it is located in Camino, one of the last villages on the hills, overlooking the Po Valley. Wine production in the Vellano family has very ancient origins, with documents stating the activity since the sixteenth century. A story of love for wine and for our Monferrato, handed down from father to son and that Pierino decided to expand, building in the 1960's the winery which is still used today. The portfolio of wines offered is very wide: from classic Monferrato wines such as Grignolino and Barbera, to more particular and innovative blends. The business was then expanded by Pierino's son, Maurizio, who added to the winery the services of catering and hospitality of the Country Resort Ca' San Sebastiano. Le latest news however comes from the historical cellars, where it has been annex the Bistrot 'Le Botti' where to enjoy tastings, aperitifs and light meals.
