Fondazione Museo Miniscalchi-Erizzo
About
The Museum is set in the rooms of the ancient stately home, the residence of the Miniscalchi-Erizzo family from the end of the fifteenth century until 1977. The exhibition spread over 15 rooms, within which the artefacts collected by the Miniscalchi-Erizzo family over three centuries are exhibited. A museum with eclectic collections, whose main and oldest core is represented by the finds from the famous Wunderkammern of the Veronese scholar Ludovico Moscardo. Bronzes and Renaissance plaques are flanked by archaeological finds, weapons and armour dating from the mid-fifteenth to the early seventeenth century, paintings, sacred art and Russian icons. The exhibition is completed by the dining room with a set table and precious French porcelain from the Napoleonic era, the ancient family library and the home chapel.
