La torretta di sotto is an authentic country house which takes you back in time and space, when poultry roamed freely in the fields and woods. In fact, my geese, chickens and ducks feed on the extensive grounds of the property and splash happily in the pond. My own fruit trees and plants, like the rare elderberry, give me the chance to offer great homemade jams using little sugar, enabling my guests to appreciate and identify each specific scent and flavor. There are two independent accommodation: The ARTEMISIA consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom and has an independent entrance from the typical porch, a large living room and a kitchen. The ARTEMISIA has a panoramic view on the hills. The antique bed belonged to my great grandparents, Elijah and Artemisia, their initials being carved on the wooden coat of arms above the bedheads. The bed may be set up as one double or twin bed. The same accomodation is possible in the second small bedroom:'studio', with a treasure chest full of toys and games for children, or a haven of peace and quiet for relax, to work or read with the little bookcase. The TORRETTA, with his indipendent entrance from the garden, consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom and a very large and panoramic terrace who makes this solution the ideal in summer: to have breakfast in the morning, to look stars and the sun rise… to have a relax in the jacuzzi. The first bedroom 'terrace room' may be set up as one double or twin bed whit the 3rd bed on request. The second doubleroom 'mansarda'is small: perfect for romantic couples, and particularly appreciated by girls of whatever age – is in the attic, has a high ceiling with wooden beams and three windows, each with its own breathtaking view: the first on the hills and the town of Santa Maria, the second on the medieval tower (illuminated by night), and the third on the ancient roofs of the nearby farmhouses.
