Minett Trail - Esch-sur-Alzette - Schifflange

This section of the "Minett Trail" goes steeply up and down: between Esch-sur-Alzette, the capital of southern Luxembourg, and the neighboring Schifflange, it goes up over the "Lalléngebierg" and the "Gaalgebierg." Or down, depending on the direction you are hiking in, because the "Minett Trail" is fully signposted in both directions. Along the way, there are impressive canyons and rust-red shimmering cliffs that bear witness to the time of open-cast mining.
