Pjazza San Pawl is the main square of Ħamrun, and is also known as Fra Diego Square because of the monument of Fra Diego which is in the middle of the square. Most recently this square in Hamrun which used to lead to Triq il-Kbira San Ġużepp has become a car-free zone and now includes a playground for children. The square is a great place to relax or grab a bite to eat with one of Malta's popular eatieries being located at the side of the square.
