Stee in Stad is spending the night in the neighbourhood. The hotel is situated in the Korrewegwijk, an area just outside the city center. It is a hotel extraordinaire. Three houses have been transformed into a hotel by local residents, artist and students. Each house contains four hotelrooms, both singles and doubles. All rooms are thematic, for instance ‘ Moulin Rouge’. Get to know Groningen from a different perspective or just stay close to friends in the neighbourhood. Experience the city in a different way and be a local for a day (or days)! Stee in Stad is a work training project for people with a distance to general labour and volunteers. The reception is housed in an authentic ‘shop-at-the-corner’- building. After checking in you will receive the key to your room. An employee will show you the way to your temporary home, at a short walking distance, 200 meter at most, from the reception.
