About
DOMunder is a subterranean attraction beneath Utrecht’s Domplein, offering visitors an immersive journey through 2,000 years of the city’s history. The site features interactive guided tours, a 75‑minute discovery walk with a flashlight, and a 60‑ to 100‑minute Domplein tour that takes you through the foundations of the medieval Dom Cathedral and the dramatic 1674 storm that reshaped the square. Guided by a knowledgeable guide, visitors walk through the layers of Roman, medieval and early modern Utrecht, uncovering artefacts and learning how civic life evolved from the Roman fort Traiectum to the city’s current status.
