The museum is closed 13th april 2022 In picturesque Sykkylven you will find the region's only museum of natural history. Get to know the extensive and unique collection of 270 birds and wildlife species from Norway and Spitzbergen. The realistic displays with bird mountains, mountain landscapes and art paintings show beautiful creatures such as musk, polar bears, lynx and eagles in their natural habitat. Come and explore Norwegian nature and fauna in Sykkylven! In September every year, the museum arranges Naturhistoriske dagar (Days with history of nature).
