At Gamle Lier stasjon you will find Godslageret's second-hand shop, Lille station - fabric / quilt and gifts, the local newspaper, welfare and activity center, and Lier Art Society. There is also Café Toget, 3 authentic train wagons from the 1960s with coffee, food and pleasant environment. Spring, summer and fall market held on Saturdays. Lier Stasjon was built in 1872 and was in operation for 101 years. After the closure station buildings have been rehabilitated and are used to small shops and businesses.
