The business house of Johs.H.Giaever was established in 1868, and has today fishingfactories all over Northern-Norway. In Henningsvaer the company is very active during the Lofoten-fisheries. During a few, hectical months several hundred tons of cod are delivered here to produce split cod and stockfish. We have rooms in our seahouses to let in the summertime, and offer comfortable stay in our authentic environment. The fish factory is situated in the middle of Henningsvaer harbour and has six rooms with common showers, kitchen and livingroom with TV. In addition we have a fishermen’s cabin and apartments at the quay, all of them with showers and kitchen. Wash machine and dryer available. All year through Henningsvaer offers good fishing possibilities, and the fish can be prepared in original Lofoten surroundings.
