About
The Jewish cemetery dates from 1584. The oldest gravestones are from the beginning of the 17th century. During World War II, the cemetery was destroyed by the Germans. In recent years, the cemetery has been tidied up. Dozens of preserved tombstones have been arranged in several rows. The cemetery is a reminder of the Jewish community in Olkusz.
